There are numerous spots to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but I opted for the tranquility of Miho no Matsubara. A short bus journey from my hotel in Shimizu marked the beginning of my quest, followed by a delightful 30-minute stroll along a scenic route. Upon reaching Miho no Matsubara, I found myself in awe of the unhindered view – it was an immersive experience, a moment where time seemed to stand still, leaving only the mountain, the waves, and myself in silent communion.

Embarking on a journey from my hotel in Toyama, I eagerly set forth on a scenic adventure that unfolded like a storybook. The starting point was Dentetsu Toyama Station, conveniently located next to JR Toyama Station, where I boarded a train destined for Tateyama station. The one-hour train ride offered picturesque views, setting the stage for the breathtaking vistas that awaited me.

My exploration began with a convenient stay just opposite the Nohi Bus Terminal in the picturesque town of Takayama. Eager to embark on a journey filled with natural wonders, I hopped on the Nohi bus service, which seamlessly transported me to the enchanting Shinhotaka Ropeway.
As the ropeway gracefully ascended in a double-decker gondola, I found myself surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Northern Alps, 2,200 meters above sea level.
